The Shangrila, a beautiful hotel with a beautiful pool, we just had to see. That led to a night of talking till 4:30 am at the place where most of the stories took place.

On our way home from vacation we had a flat tire...a minor half hr set back from our 10 hr drive!!!

Finally on our last full day there we saw a wild elephant crossing the street! The best most exciting 5 minutes ever!

The scardest I have ever been! I thought we came across a tiger for sure and I encountered my first leech, ever!!! Hiking is for the boys...

Our first night in Khao Yai we went out spotlighting wild animals with our flashlights and we came upon this sign...it didnt stop us we were on a mission!!

Today we went snorkeling and fishing on our last day in Koh Chang and it was sooo much fun!! It was a first time for me with both out in the ocean. So happy we had an underwater camera bag!!

The boys went to look for monkeys and found a vine to ride. It was so fun but rather scary. I captured a picture of Richard swinging.

today as I was picking shells from the sand I came across this little crab posing on the rock. I snapped some photos but thought it was dead so I went to pick it up and it ran...so I screamed, lol.

Today we made our way to our next stop...Koh Chang!!!!! It was the best feeling to ride the fairy to the Island and see this sign!! Pure relaxation and sun!!

Today was the start of our vacation to down south. We had our first stop in Bangkok. Here we had some really good shopping at the local market under our hotel!

Today we took one of the mission teams to the Elephant, Snake and Tiger Kingdoms, tourist stuff. We ended up having just as much if not more fun then the team. Melanie and I fed an adorable elephant and he gave us hugs in return!

Today we went to the market to get some meat buns and this guy was parked out in front of the shop...it was a picture worth remembering. The simple times of Chiang Mai.

Today we went to see a toyota racing expo near the house at a large sports arena. It was so much fun they had drivers doing tricks and racing at the end...a super fun day with lunch by the lake afterwards :)

Before we left Baw Gaew we went to feed and pet, Richard's Grandparents Gibbons. This little fellow kept sticking his woohooos through the gate...so Richard thought, why not, maybe he wanted a scratch there too, haha.

Today I got to see Baw Gaew. It was a quick trip we came up just for one night.
It was great to put a place to the name!!

Today we went to Lampang, about an hour drive outside Chiang Mai, to have a bowl of Kao Soy and visit the ceramic outlet and cute shops. A day well spent :)
